Luke and Oskar have been sharing their mutual appreciation for gin since 2011 – whilst sharing a house, this reportedly led to the tradition of ‘Martini Thursdays’ which allowed them to explore all variations of the spirit with the aim of creating the ultimate martini.
Fast forward nine years and the chaps have two years of commercial distilling under their belt, with three core product plus seasonal gins and new releases coming very soon!
With a focus on responsibility and sustainability, South Coast Distillery supports its local farmers by sourcing ingredients from Illawarra-based producers whenever possible. You’ll often find Luke at the distillery meticulously perfecting his recipes.
